Birth mom has decided to parent, so we yet again have another failed adoption. My brother in law doesn't understand how one family can have so many problems. We have been working at trying to have a baby in one way or another for 10 years. Is God trying to tell us something?
We are going to go back home, get ready for a vacation to Florida and then regroup. No big decisions to be made right now. Maybe we'll go international...maybe we'll just quit and be happy with Jordan as we were before starting this process...I dunno. Lance said that at least we know we saved this baby's life. We told the birth mom to get on Medicaid, which allowed her to get some medical care to find out that the baby had to be delivered because of the low amniotic fluid. She could have lost him if we hadn't prompted the start of medical care. So we can be assured that in the end, we made a positive impact in this baby's life.
We move forward and move on, knowing that the strength of God holds us up and his love gets us through the trials and challanges of life.
