How can 16 pounds of dog make such a difference? Adopt a dog and you'll figure that out soon! I never thought we'd have an indoor dog...not Lance's style. And, with fire ants and sand spurs in the yard, never thought we'd have a dog while living here. But, as time has gone on, we've learned where the safe parts of the yard are. We realize having an outdoor dog is not an option. Also, dog-sitting a furry friend for 10 days helped us know that we can handle an indoor dog.

So...we started looking for a non-shedding breed. I never would have imagined that my hubby, who likes big dogs (Labs, Boxers)...you know, man dogs....would agree to a 16 pound Lhasa-Poo!! The non-shedding and the personality of this breed won him over.

Charlie is 5 years old and came w/ all of his vaccinations & neutering (on Mon) & is already house-trained!!! YEA! Doesn't get any better than that. He does think he needs to sleep in our bed, so it took at least a half a dozen times of putting him on his bed before he realized his place for sleeping. He loves attention and since he doesn't shed, can cuddle next to us on the couch. He is adapting to our family very well!
